2010- S.U.B.A. Bass Tournament

SUBA Bass Tournament @ Sand Hollow

Weekly fishing report from Jiff and Skeet

Bass fishing is still fairly slow out at Sand Hollow. However, using the right techniques, fish can be caught. What we have found to work best is using the drop shot with a tube or any other plastic of your choice with a very slow retrieve. Since the water temp is still in the mid to upper 40's the bass are still slow to react and lethargic so anything slow is going to work best. Until the water temp rises, stay in 25-35 foot of water because that is where they are right now.

As for Quail, its basically the same thing, but the bass seem to be a little smarter and are even more hesitant to bite. The Bass Riders have not been out to Quail very much lately due to the tournament at Sand Hollow, but will try to get out soon to see what is working best.

Coming up on the Bass Riders Association Blog next week and each week from now on!!!

New member pictures and profiles. Again if you want to join this elite association, email us at bassridersassociation@gmail.com and tell us about yourself. Have a great week and as always, good luck out on the water!
